🎨 A painting/Fediverse experimentation:
With percentages of Red, Green and Blue, you can obtain a precise RGB color definition.
So, please vote for one or more color channel and with the mix of all the votes, I'll challenge myself to paint a fantasy landscape, using the result as the dominant color.
(PS: I'm doing full time inking/penciling on episode 37 and a bit of colored art cool-down would be great! Also I need a bit of 'Fedifun' this week. Thanks for your votes and boosts! )
Great #Inkscape tutorial from a great artist Rick Johanson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3Wt_Mxpk2s
@cat567 @davidrevoy I would love to do a full episode if I ever get the opportunity (time and funds). That would be a dream come true ! 🙂
These are not the droids you're looking for...May the 4th be with you!

Narcissus & Echo
Here is my modern take on the well known myth from the Metamorphoses of Ovid. An old artwork from 2006.
This morning, I decided to upgrade the quality and share the full resolution. I remixed a bit the artwork and switched the license to Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Int.
That's a long process to free my art from the past, I hope you'll like it even if the style shift is huge compare to what I do now. We all have metamorphosis, right?

@davidrevoy Thanks a lot for sharing! :)
New Pepper&Carrot derivation: a short scene animated coming with a fully detailed #krita and #b3d making-of. A project done by Purism's Creative Director @francois .
You can read the full making-of here: https://puri.sm/posts/animating-pepper-carrot-with-librem-laptop/
I really liked the result and all the production tips on the article (the compositing!). A very good resource if you are interested into animation with Free/Libre and Open Source tools.
@morevnaproject It looks very good!
It has been quite a journey so far and we are ready for the growth challenges that are before us. Thank you to all who have supported us, understood the struggles, and will continue to help us change technology for the better. Here is the journey so far, from @todd's desk 🙌 https://puri.sm/posts/crossing-the-chasm-toward-the-tipping-point/
Our new 3 minute video "The Core Values of #SoftwareFreedom" is released.

I should have said "contributing to" instead of "financing". The developers, designers, manufacturers, translators and any other contributors to free technologies are part of this beautiful collaborative world
I wrote this article because I believe that a true democratic society is slowly happening while the technology is slowly being owned by the people. This bright upcoming future has nothing to do with politics but from the people financing Free aka "Libre" licensed technologies.

Insightful. We can't repeat often enough that @mobian , @debian , @postmarketOS , @manjarolinux and others would not be where they are now, without @purism adopting a cooperative upstreaming policy. We would wager that everyone purchasing a (true) Linux device now, benefits from your investments. There is plenty to criticize and nag about you 😝, but you are doing the whole FOSS community a service that could not easily be replicated by volunteers.
Bored this weekend? We've finally got a new drawing challenge for you!
The topic is

It runs until October 4, 2021.

Kudos to @francois for the #plymouth theme, @dos for plymouth crash fixing and @craftyguy for osk-sdl
Making a #sip call from the #calls app on the #librem5 (and yes audio worked ;) ). This is still a development version of gnome-calls. And work still needs to be done to make it more user friendly and integrated with other components. But hey it is progress :D
Credits go out to: @devrtz that has been working to add #sip on gnome-calls. Also the account on the phone is an jmp.chat account, shoutout to them as jmp.chat is an awesome service :D
