@Rhababerbarbar @danct12 Maemo was a regular Debian-based GNU/Linux distro, which Android is not.

Turns out my eyes are still working well enough for 4K res on a 13" screen to make a significant difference, to dismay of my poor 6 years old integrated GPU.

I really wish only the ones who fuck around were the ones to then find out.

@simulo FWIW even if you get just an input-only keyboard, synthesizing isn't really a demanding task and could be done on an old SBC, mobile phone or even a microcontroller.

We’ve been seeing a persistent issue with search results in GNOME Web failing due to an issue with the r.duckduckgo.com¹ redirect. As far as we can tell, this is on DuckDuckGo’s side, but we’d love to work with them to better understand what’s going on.

@vala_lang I mean, I was running it on my phone back then 😁 It used to be cross-compiled with OpenEmbedded, as compiling on the phone was barely viable back then. Today it wouldn't be a big deal, although today FSO is quite obsolete anyway 😉 Just a curio about "running Vala on your phone".

Looks like my old patch for workarounding Electron/Chromium bugs in Squeekboard (inspired by a solution used by Gamescope) has been finally merged and released in v1.42.1. It used to exacerbate another preexisting issue, but it now got fixed too. No more randomly broken keys in poorly behaving apps! 😌
