Music/Computer question: If I buy a MIDI keyboard, is there a way to listen to it without attaching a whole computer to it? (Just like I can get an AmPlug for my electric guitar, if I am happy with listening through headphones, and I usually am)

@simulo FWIW even if you get just an input-only keyboard, synthesizing isn't really a demanding task and could be done on an old SBC, mobile phone or even a microcontroller.
