@david according to @Gargron @todd said that Librem Social is not moderated, but your blog post says harassment can be flagged for moderator attention.
Is this a needless misunderstanding or am I just unable to read between the lines?

I'm new to the fediverse, so no clue if this is reasonable:
Would it be possible to exclude an instance from the global timeline but still peer with it?
As there is no timeline on Librem Social, I don't see that crap. Could that not also be a good global solution?

@Gargron @alexl@mstdn.io @purism
I don't have that in my head. (That's what the quote is for)
I hate it!
If it is illegal, the person has to be persecuted based on the law.
In Germany, Lawmakers wanted to "block" access to child porn - instead of becoming better in taking it down, in accordance with the law. Freedom activists like @Digitalcourage protested.

It does not mean they embrace abuse.

@alexl@mstdn.io @Gargron @purism Indeed!
Federation can either be a way around censorship or another way to have censorship. Not both.

Only a few days after the European elections, the EU governments like repeat offenders want to reinstate the #dataretention of contacts and movement data of the entire population in violation of our fundamental rights. https://digitalcourage.de/blog/2019/vorratsdatenspeicherung-eu-rat-juni-2019

This indiscriminate blanket retention must be stopped. Nobody can be elected President of the Commission who supports #dataretention! #StopMassSurveillance

Ben en fait non. Comme d'hab en fait.
