Turns out that the #w300 cameras wifi can only be turned on by an ios/android app using a bluetooth connection. The wifi is said to be turned on only for one action (like getting one picture). I've gottan that far that the wifi switched on and has been visible.
Now looking for a way to #capture the #bluetooth traffic on #android to find a way to enable wifi on the camera from a linux computer...

Just ordered a Nikon W300 #camera. Already searched for a way to get pictures off the camera using wifi and found https://www.testcams.com/airnef/ . Would also be a nice option to get pictures on my #pinephone if it works.

Die #Pinephone Kamera funktioniert leider noch nicht so perfekt. Dafür ist die Bedienung über Bluetooth Tastatur super.

Im #Landvergnügen sind jetzt gerade #1EngelUnd3Bengel eingeschlafen. Die Eltern haben ihre Stunde Paarzeit :-).

#1EngelUnd3Bengel unterwegs mit #Landvergnügen. Bengel1 ist 6, unser Engel ist 5, Bengel2 ist 3 und Bengel3 ist 1.

Die Engelin hat das _Angel_man Syndrom und ihre ganz eigene Sicht auf die Welt.

Der #Wohnwagen hat ein Hochbett und 2x ein Dopelbett. Der Engel hat auf einem Doppelbett ihr Schlafzelt und Bengel1 schläft neben ihr. Im Hochbett ist Benge2 und Bengel3 liegt im Aufstelldach vom Auto.

Die Eltern verteilen sich auf Aufstelldach und zweites Doppebett im Wohnwagen.

I already made a #gpx using #brouter and imported it. Didn't try to follow it, yet, but I do not doubt it'll work.

Meanwhile I compiled and installed #brouter on my #notebook and started using it with a local #brouterweb interface. Cool!

The missing part is the #tileserver for serving #openstreetmap #offline to #brouter and #puremaps.

I'll try #osmscout-server...

Ha, once you know how to find the feature it's already in Pure Maps: It can use pre-made gpx route for #navigation

Maybe it could all fit together:

brouter-web to have an interface for planning
brouter as a backend for brouter-web (as I understand it would be optional if brouter-web could use osmscout-server as a routing backend)
osmscout-server would provide the OpenStreetMap data
Pure Maps could be the application to use on the road - as it is or using a pre-planned route from brouter-web

I like the clear interface of #puremaps - it would be a great tool for following a planned route (#navigation), but didn't find an option to include a ready made route to follow.

But there might be another app out there to use such a ready planned route while on the road.

Started looking for a substitute to #osmand for #mobian. So far as I didn't find anything being near.

I’d expect the following features

* using maps and routing completely offline with an option for bike routing (would be o.k. to have an option to avoid e.g. highways)
* setting multiple waypoints to plan a round course
* insert points where I do not like the proposed routing
* block roads (running into unexpected road constructions)

Found #brouter-web which is an incredible for planning.

LG Rolly #Keyboard connected via #bluetooth to #pinephone. Works great :) . Still looking for a way to (temporarily) disable the on-screen keyboard...

Still running #mobian on my #pinephone. Fiddled around with #openvpn and #networkmanager to use my #pi-hole dns behind the vpn connection.

Didn't get it to work using #systemd-resolved, but seems to work nice just using resolv.conf.

For this to work I had to define the openvpn connection in nm-connection-editor (started from King's Cross). It didn't fit on the screen.

Using the script scale-to-fit it is possible to tell Phoc that the windows of nm-connection-editor should be scaled to fit :)

Using ssh it just configures as on any other Debian :) - just great! Activated my nextcloud account and a minute later I had address book and calender filled. Incredible!

...well, o.k., this didn't work. Cannot edit the fields in the window for the vpn connection.

#mobian on #pinephone: logged in via ssh to the #pinephone and started nm-connection-editor which shows up like expected on my desktop from where I logged in. Will try to configure openvpn...
