The phone is over-exhausting itself:
It took a long rest from #timetravel and stayed with me for more than 328000 seconds and then leapt into the far unknown year 2203 for the first time.
It seems to get help by journald which is in preparation stopped and started a few times.
I'll get it back by rebooting and look what it's got to tell.
Meanwhile I didn't find the information whether a #mobian update after the major changes is save again for my #pinephone.
Yeah, new highscore. My #PinePhone running (unused) for more than 187000 seconds since last reboot with the correct clock.
When I logged in on serial console I observed that the moment of login the #camera is clicking and there are dmesgs about #ov5640 loading #firmware.
Shouldn't this happen after reboot automatically and not just after the first login (however it is triggered at that moment)?
My #pinephone UBPorts edition running #mobian likes to #timetravel: The date jumps ahead to year 2115 after a while.
Each time a jump to the future is initiated it is acompanied by messages of the type 'rcu: INFO: rcu_sched self-detected stall on CPU'.
The return to my timeline can only be initiated by rebooting.
I started playing with timing for RAM and got so far the imagination that the interval from reboot to timetravel got longer with lower settings.
@PINE64 Niemand?
#Gemini browser #Kristall on #Pinephone running #mobian.
No changes to master from github. Nearly everything is usable (scrolling only using the scrollbar, settings dialog is to wide for the screen).
...and it is #fast.
Just started trying #mirage https://github.com/mirukana/mirage .
Nice experience. Good configuration options by editing a .json config file.
The interface scales nicely and I'm tempted to try it on my #pinephone. Didn't find out whether the flatpak is supporting the architecture.

Got the journal of my #pinephone running #mobian via serial link while it changed its date and time and the screen became unresponsive.
Looked some more into Bluetooth LE. Moved the tests to my #pinephone, because #bluetooth seems to be more stable than on my notebook ;-)...
Guess I'll need a screenrecord of the pairing process of my #w300 to the android app #snapbridge to correlate the times of the sniff and my actions in the app.
I'm amazed. Just like that a serial console for debugging on my #pinephone. It's a phone that behaves like an sbc ;-) ...
Hm, my #pinephone with #mobian sometimes just stops to react to anything I do: phonecall, press of the power button, connect try using a bluetooth keyboard, dis-/connect of usb-c power - nothings activates the screen.
Holding the power button to switch off works and afterwards the phone boots just normal.
Anybody else experiencing something similar?
Just about to make a serial connection to get some more information...
BTW: I'm really disappointed by #nikon about how they made the marketed #wifi feature on the #w300 #camera work: You are forced to use a closed source #android or #ios app. Even though there is #airnef around it is not usable if there is no way to switch on #wifi. For someone looking for a camera to use with #linux (and possibly like me with the #pinephone) the wifi and bluetooth function is worthless.
Just ordered a Nikon W300 #camera. Already searched for a way to get pictures off the camera using wifi and found https://www.testcams.com/airnef/ . Would also be a nice option to get pictures on my #pinephone if it works.

Ha, once you know how to find the feature it's already in Pure Maps: It can use pre-made gpx route for #navigation
Thanks to @rinigus for the great software and for pointing me in the right direction.
Gotta try it on my #pinephone
LG Rolly #Keyboard connected via #bluetooth to #pinephone. Works great :) . Still looking for a way to (temporarily) disable the on-screen keyboard...
Still running #mobian on my #pinephone. Fiddled around with #openvpn and #networkmanager to use my #pi-hole dns behind the vpn connection.
Didn't get it to work using #systemd-resolved, but seems to work nice just using resolv.conf.
For this to work I had to define the openvpn connection in nm-connection-editor (started from King's Cross). It didn't fit on the screen.
Using the script scale-to-fit it is possible to tell Phoc that the windows of nm-connection-editor should be scaled to fit :)
#mobian on #pinephone: logged in via ssh to the #pinephone and started nm-connection-editor which shows up like expected on my desktop from where I logged in. Will try to configure openvpn...
