@kyle opened an issue, and have my attempt at a solution in a fork.
@kyle oh I know it
@kyle is it weird that I read "palm pilot" and immediately thought of the PDA from eons ago?
@kyle yeah the numpad is way less important than the rest. It’s not even a feature I’d use just like things to work. Maybe I’ll take a look and see if I can patch it myself.
@kyle cool. None of the “numpad” stuff works either on mine. Related or?
@Gina Caty loved your sound effects

@kyle occasionally with a wave that’s offensive in the local culture.
The move from Qubes OS over to Pure OS went pretty smoothly. Generally if one can be productive in Qubes OS it's pretty simple to handle a migration to just about anything else IME.
Detailed my process below, but so far so good.... and even my USB-C woes appear to be a non-issue.
@Gina looking good. overhung slopers are ugh. I’ve found post-surgery that going up isn’t that much harder, it’s coming back down that’s the problem. Can’t get myself to drop, and down climbing is a pita.
No longer pondering. Did a full backup of QubesOS, and will selectively restore some new qubes over to my T460s. I’ve got a Tails stick made, and am installing PureOS on my Librem 14 right now.

@Gina not bad at all really. I like it here, but if I have to be stuck in a small set of places it might as well be the ones that also contain my pets, friends, and family. I’m sure I can figure out how to make bitterballen so there won’t be much to miss in the end.
@Gina glad you’re back. You came back just in time for my bday (tomorrow) so guess you didn’t really miss anything 🤷🏻♂️😂
- Went home for a month, got vax’d, came back
- Decided my NL assignment will end early, going home in December for good
- Started violin lessons again
- Finished the website engine thing my fiancée asked for and got her using it
- Went to Paris for two days for work, got food poisoning immediately, spent the first day basically dead.
I like to work with my hands. That may mean hammering out solutions to complex problems in #Python or #Rust, building things in my shop, or spinning yarn to knit something warm. You’ll likely see some of all of that here. By day (and sometimes night) I keep >13k nodes and services alive in the Electric Vehicle sector.
