We have lots of IRC channels in the LibreOffice community, to discuss our projects. But not everyone is a fan of IRC – so we have bridges to Matrix as well. Learn more here: blog.documentfoundation.org/bl

@ONLYOFFICE When will Desktop Editors v7.0 be released on FlatHub? It still hasn't updated.

@Tutanota I use the desktop client (AppImage) for Linux.

@Wolthera @helveticablanc I agree. I bought a Huion H640P myself and it works flawlessly on Linux Mint. After some initial configuration, you should be good to go.

In addition to checking the project (digimend.github.io), there are also several review sites you can check for recommendations. (I used addictivetips.com/buying-guide.)

Just got a Huion H640P. 😄 I am happy to report it works great on Linux Mint 20 even without drivers. However, using the drivers (digimend.github.io) allowed Linux Mint to recognize it as a graphics tablet, which allowed me to further configure it using its GUI tool.

Unfortunately, I still don't see a way to configure the programmable keys on the tablet itself through the GUI. I have to use the terminal for that. Other than that, it's a real delight. 🎉 😁

@JoshStrobl Nice. Looking forward to hearing about your experience with the 'Reaper'! ☠️

@unfa @jch Awesome! I agree and cheer you on. Although, I hope you will also keep helping to promote other platforms like Odysee and PeerTube. While it may be difficult to avoid YouTube now for many creators, we need a serious alternative that respects users. In the meantime, keep creating more awesome videos about Linux and FOSS! 😁

@oseo @Tutanota You are talking about 'Electron'. Yes, it's based on Chromium. I haven't seen a similar framework for web apps based on Firefox. In fact, I think Firefox actually killed support for PWAs.

@abloo @Tutanota No. That comment actually made me smile. It's quite funny. You definitely get an award from me for making my day! 😄

@Linux4Everyone@fosstodon.org What...? 😲 Awesome!

@TheNerdyAnarchist 😂 😂 😂 @BrodieOnLinux has over 23,000 followers even on Odysee now, which is a much younger platform than YouTube. I'd say he has definitely reached his target now.

Nice interview of @JoshStrobl by @gamingonlinux about #Solus (and more) : « Nobody starts out as an expert and you will find the best way of learning is to just start doing. Don't be afraid to ask questions and don't be afraid of failure. Do not pay any mind to the nay-sayers telling you to not to build your own application or game just because something else might already exist that does something similar. » gamingonlinux.com/2021/07/a-ch

@benkramer @Linux4Everyone@fosstodon.org Isn't Proton open source? It is already being used outside of Steam. I feel this has more to do with the fact that SteamOS 3.0 is based on Arch Linux, which gets frequent updates to a lot of libraries that games depend on. It may become a huge burden for developers to fix all those dependency issues. However, I do agree that it would be nice to have native Linux games.

@kyle @purism It didn't really answer the question. To me at least, it feels like you've reiterated on what you have written in previous blog posts. I would love to see a more technical explanation about what you guys do on the software side.
