@wez voted for ebook, though most then come as pdf which is horrible. A good formated ebook for code seems to be hard though.

Got myself a piantor pro and looove it!
Ok my head is spinning for those 3 thumbkey options but still. The open chests feels great.

PSA that the #OSArch (OSArch.org - community.OSArch.org) community forums has been under a DDoS attack for just over a day now. Anybody experienced with who can help provide some advice for a FOSS volunteer hosted site on the best way forward to stop this and in the future please send me a DM :) #opensource #openbim

@zrzz probably aiosmtpd is the way to go. I hope this is sufficient to what i have to do.

@zrzz uff looks like a tough compile on windows...

@zrzz jeah that was the first i found, however i am not a fan of wsl and now try first, but cant get it to run yet. Though maybe exim should also work natively on windows no?

Any recommandations for a on windows? Its only for local email testing, but I haven't done that yet. Is an option?

@thibaultamartin I'd say the essential freedoms like, beeing able to modify and really owning it in a sense that I can figure out when things brake.
On mobile only a few things are missing for me, that have actually little to do with the software. Some services that depend on a prop app instead of open standards, or just groups of people that don't care to use whatapp instead of matrix...

@sikorski does that mean you use WindowsTerminal on debian?

@EC_NGI and @nlnet make a dramatic impact to improve our sustainable, privacy and attention respecting #linuxmobile ecosystem. One of the very few answers we have to the duopoly of Android and iOS from Silicon Valley!

Because of that we are saddened about the @EUCommission not mentioning NGI programmes anymore in their draft of funding programmes for 2025. 😢

We signed the open letter, consider doing the same if your project received funding in the past.

@ovid @Lioh I was specifically refering to liohs communication example. If we have to use AI to communicate to the gov, there is still something wrong.
But other usecases as yours are absolutely valid imho.
I just think we should't use glue because its easier than screws if we still want to disassemble things.

@Lioh I kind of see a little irony in your post, like: solving problems that shouldn't exist...
Though I am trying to get my foot into llm as well. With ollama its not the same experience, but at least I have full control when it comes to running the model, both in terms of power consumption and privacy. Think that should be the way to go.

OK that #Microsoft #AI CEO said that "everyone can copy [...]it's freeware"

So since #Windows iso images are available we can copy them, it's freeware.

The same with all the licensed Microsoft #GitHub repositories too then ?

If paying is not owning, if creating is not owning, piracy isn't stealing then.

@thibaultamartin i guess thats common in every language and quite intendet by the speakers.
