@mathias looks promising. I haven't yet found a way to really use nvim-dap-ui because it was a bit overwhelming. But a nicer way of marking and watching variables sounds great.

@vonheikemen I can get your point every time I break my config. Its good to know how to use bare vim to repair the config again :-)

@craftyguy seperate dotfiles git and copy it over. Because sometimes I want to keep an older version on another machine on purpose, and I know when and why what breaks. I dont think I really want that automatic.

@kirschner kind of same here. I can still use a 'old' way of doing it. But they propose the app and there is no doc that says there is another way.

@BrodieOnLinux since you are usualy not getting charged for the upgrade, i don't think this is a big problem.

@bartdorsey @nixCraft i'm experimenting with #neovim from flatpak. Which is kind of bonkers, but it gives me a full new shiny IDE and a basic stable #vim for admin work at the same time. There were some gotchas, but it works nice now.
