I often use the debugger to compare the values of two variables.

So far I printed the values of both and looked for differences. If it was difficult to see I used linediff (github.com/AndrewRadev/linedif)

But maybe we can do better?

@mathias looks promising. I haven't yet found a way to really use nvim-dap-ui because it was a bit overwhelming. But a nicer way of marking and watching variables sounds great.
