We just published a pretty big #nushell release. Mutable variables, loops, try/catch, break/continue, and more. Was a lot of fun to put together - and I'm curious to see how people take to it.

I'd like to share an incredible FOSS project known as BOLTS: it's a slowly growing database of tech specs for design and construction, started by an OpenSCAD dev who wanted standard bolts and washers. It now has all standardised EU/AU structural steel profiles in an agnostic backend powering #OpenSCAD, #FreeCAD, and #NativeIFC software like the #BlenderBIM Add-on.
There is ongoing work to extend the database with architectural dimensions, US/Indian profiles, and more.

I'm really good at making typos so I revisited the text-completion support in #phosh's osk-stub and added a completer based on the #presage library and trained it with a German text from @gutenberg_org and was surprised how well that works. 1/2
@FreeCAD great to see! Next is section of a detail of a section :-). That would take it ahead of the industrie i bet :-D
@martijnbraam glad to see this! Great retirement lot for some old phones, that can still have a purpose :-)
@ademalsasa #nushell because it does the same on linux and windows, which i still have to use at work. And for its concept of course.

@be I'm using alacritty every day on windows.
There are no tabs because they say that should be part of thw window manager, which I agree on. So I take that pain until MS fixes that :-)
@draemmli we have so much mobile compute power nowadays, you should be productive with any of these. Which leaves me with the thought of: "When did i last time had the time for waiting?"
@hbenjamin @beli3ver gemeint ist wohl, dass caldav ohne nextcloud nicht einfach so angeboten wird.
Ist halt kein 'kompletter' Dienst, sondern nur Teile davon.
