Resting after the most stressful week in a long time. Today WA closed all schools over COVID-19. Things feel surreal and like a movie. I am sad to see things come to pass the way I feared two weeks ago. Grocery and online stores are being ransacked. Guns and ammo are selling out. Distributors are selling out of goods. My next big fear is long isolation with desperation setting in leading to looting. It could lead to Martial Law. Hopefully not! 😅

Had stuff delivered from near Seattle. Driver said was like day after the zombie apocalypse. What should have been 3+ hr trip was less than half. Said cops not pulling people over as they don't want to get it. No traffic for miles at a time. Welcome to new world.

@avoiceofliberty Excellent article from Peter Nayland Kust. We can quell our fears by carefully interpreting the data provided by organizations like WA DOH. He talks about how anyone can follow the WA DOH Influenza Update as a proxy for possible #COVID19 outbreaks. Luckily, Snohomish County has not seen a surge of flu-like symptom visits to the ER until recently, visits to the ER there are increasing a little now. This is a huge relief for Washingtonian like myself.

@avoiceofliberty Only widespread testing and documentation of symptoms would answer this question. South Korea is doing this and the fatality rate is decreasing because mild cases are being identified. Some are saying that children could be transmitters.
@avoiceofliberty cryptic transmission does not necessarily mean that the cryptic transmitters have flu like symptoms. Cryptic transmitters may not have any symptoms or very mild symptoms which doesn't warrant a ER visit.
