Scare the crowd enough and they will surrender democracy and hand you the keys to the kingdom, that's why attacks on democracy are often disguised as something scary, War on Terror or something like it.
@Hyolobrika
Democracy itself does not protect people from malicious government, the dismantlement of democracy and transformation of it into an autocratic regime offer happens through democratic means and with majority's support: people LOVE the easy answers — just give the strongman more power and he will fix it all.

— Most people buy laser discs now, you know, CDs, they don't wear out — can't damage the surface of CDs: they are digital, not analog… Would you like… for me to explain to you the difference between digital and analog recording?
— No

With that amount of RAM? 😱 Void or Alpine only!
Yes, those won't nag the user about software updates, but if they don't want to go into the trouble of updating it themselves, they won't be able to fix it if the update breaks the system, so not updating at all might even be preferable 🤷

I think I still have YellowDog on DVD somewhere, a DVD that I have never used. But even I didn't know where yum name came from 😂
I have a good excuse though — I haven't used rpm-based distros since the very early 2000s.
