@Rezard Это прямо в шапку профиля ставить можно 😁

@calculsoberic@mstdn.social Nice nickname!
I have this photo of my cat lying next to "C Programming Language" and "Go Programming Language" books. Looks somewhat relevant 😸

Wow, I didn't know the Mario Draghi as in ex-PM of Italy was a student of Modigliani!

@tut Thank you!
And thank you for great software that tut is! One of the reasons why TUI apps are my daily drivers nowadays! 👍

@splitshockvirus BTW if HP is a viable alternative to you and you are fine with AMD, maybe this?

I don't have any personal experience with it, but looks nice. Comes with 16 Gbs, but is upgradable to 64, supports fast NVMe SSDs and is built for Linux, it even comes with PopOS. Built-in display looks good enough on paper, I'm not sure if it can drive three eternal ones though.

@tut
Oh, yes! I have to make a [[open-custom.programs]] subsection, this works!
Put these examples in the sample config please, it's not obvious as it is.
Also, please make the parser fail if there is an error somewhere in config, currently it just fails silently. If I e.g. put something like program=["mpv"] into config file the parser just fails silently, but the program still starts without any config at all, even the theme is ignored.

@bbbhltz
Yep, these ones work perfectly, not the custom ones to open URLs with.
Well, thanks. I'll take a look at the source then, I hope I can figure this out 😅
@tut

@bbbhltz
Did you manage to configure external programs in new version? INI-config had these numbered, TOML one is very vague on how to do that, multiple "program=" lines seem to bork up the config parser and even themes stop working, I thought that something was wrong with mine and started looking at the source, then I realized this.
Using arrays like program=["mpv,"imv","w3m"] also doesn't seem to cut it. I'm completely lost 🤪
@tut

@james@mstdn.starnix.network
Yup, thanks to you I've read a lot about how bad this Manifest v3 thing is going to be, but I didn't expect its implementation in Firefox to be this bad from the get go 😖
@CKsTechNews@cktn.todon.de

@james@mstdn.starnix.network It does, I see this one!
Smilodon is all about opt-in and making everything publicly visible, this instance does not even have DMs, I'm sure it is a side-effect of that, but I doubt it was intended.
Yeah, I'll get in touch with them, at least to make sure they are still interested in developing Social. Looks like last commit was over two years ago and it's based on a rather old version of Mastodon.

@coolboymew
Time sure flies. I feel like I've been watching it ongoing just last week 😌
@hfaust

@neural_meduza После того, как стало невозможно вывести деньги с OnlyFans.

@neural_meduza В Футураме их называли будками и самоубийства 😜

@neural_meduza Её тоже пытались водрузить на крышу здания?

@AnarchoNinaWrites I know, you are probably trying to draw parallels to modern day US, but this is factually very wrong. Nazism happened not because "the guy" or rich people wanted it, it was discontent of the lower middle class after the first World War. Erich Fromm has a whole book about it. And rich people did pay for it, dearly. Some of the jews were insanely rich people, take Austrian branch of Rothschilds for example, they lost a lot of their assets, did they want that?🤔

@lrhodes Art paper knife! Doesn't look too useful, but sometimes comes in handy when you're trying to fit one tiny thing into another tiny thing 😅
And clipboard, like the one on the picture, not one of the plastic ones — got one on my first job and I still have it, indispensable when you are writing down a lot not at your desk.

@bbbhltz
sed s/=/=\"/g | sed s/$/\"/g
So something like this will probably do the trick? Great!
I was messing with Rust's config.toml file yesterday to make it use certain linker flags by default and didn't like it at all 😅
But probably Rust is to blame for using arrays for some params and tables for other very similar ones, not toml files in general.

@RL_Dane
Vim has a spellchecker, this is what makes me consider keep using it.
