I have an olde networked 10 Mbit Ethernet print server with a traditional parallel port that I can use with my equally old Epson LQ-100. The print server is by HP and the printer is Epson — and yet they somehow work fine together 🤪
Maybe you can find something like this too.

There was something wrong with it — that is why everyone started switching to Mule in the first place, but I'm not sure what that was, would appreciate a link to an article about it if such a thing exists.

I remember running VNC server from Cydia on my original iPhone 🤭
Other than multi-touch gestures it was surprisingly usable and ran really well.
