Working on my next script, I would very much like some input on corruption in the western world.
What is your best example of a politician in your country, who has done something clearly illegal, yet has survived politically?
Of course, we all know Donald Trump, but I am searching for examples that most people would perhaps not know about, outside your country.

I'm not too well-versed in the subject though — this would probably require some research on your end.
There also is a well-known connection between Russia and some Austrian and Czech politicians and officials — but likewise, this would require further research and is probably not what you ultimately want
