If you're interested in contributing to #Gitea #federation, I updated an old comment I wrote: github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issu

The ⁨⁩ memory that will stick with me most is when an unopened soda can left in front of the projector exhaust vent exploded in the middle of my talk like a gunshot, shooting a geyser of soda in the air. I'm going to get so much mileage out of that story.

phosh 0.20.0~beta3 is out 🚀📱 :

It fixes many bugs on our road to 0.20.0.

Check out the full release notes at gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p for details.

@purism

Improved 's screenshot support a bit so it can also handle screen area selection leveraging slurp (wayland.emersion.fr/slurp/) and gnome-screenshot.

@purism

One more GTK4 port. Got a bunch of VTE and libadwaita issues fixed in process, and finally dropped SCSS dep that was only there so we could recolor that header bar for root/remote indication. :)

App developers that keep saying that they are volunteers working in a particular FOSS project in their free time. But when they like to bash a distro for some packaging error seem to quickly forget that distro packagers are also volunteers working in their free time.

We currently do not offer ETFs because we are (still) of the opinion that ETFs cannot be sustainable. However, with OnlineInvest we have an offer with really 100% sustainable investments. We have thoroughly tested them according to our strictest investment criteria. Have a look.

big stack of hacks = working orientation sensor on the @shiftphones SHIFT6mq with #Linux mainline #linuxmobile

(video shows orientation working on a 6mq, the phone rotates :o)

this relies on some impressive hacks and ONLY works because there is no secureboot. wont work on op6!

im too tired to go into detail on this, important notes:
1. this will not work on any other sdm845 device, it only works because secureboot is off and we can therefore patch the hypervisor
2. yes seriously, the hypervisor must be patched to access sensors from #Linux
#linuxmobile

im confident that a proper solution to get sensors working properly on sdm845 devices is possible! until then, someone with a personal vendetta against proprietary firmware figured out how to disable protections and let the kernel access the GPIOs which are usually reserved

for use by the sensor core.

here's the mess of code for those interested. I'm not sure if we'll ship this as it requires flashing a modified hypervisor which is "ehh" at best...
