From - SOME MARVEL NEWS

Best take on I have seen in very long time

In this image: 3 different types of devices all running some form of #KDE #Plasma and some form of #AlpineLinux:

- the laptop, a #System76 machine, running Alpine Linux with the latest Plasma Desktop
- the TV, a #rockpro64 from #Pine64, running #postmarketOS with #PlasmaBigscreen
- the smartphone, a #Librem5, running #postmarketOS with #plasmamobile

Can't wait for my smartwatch next! 😜

Mornin’ fedi.

Today yet another building day. Gonna put a sliding door in my and @antilopa future room. Exciting. Good to have the building going on as it distracts me from the whole lockdown shit which worries me a lot.

My printed templates i use for the palm trimmer are fragile when in accidental contact with the blade, so need to print new one already. It is nice I can easily create any type of template and easily reproduce it. So even though fragile, I think better and more accurate then building one from wood

Linux kernel contributor.
Can't write an `if` in POSIX #shell without a tutorial.

We exist.

phoc 0.10.0 and 0.11.0 have been released ➡️ gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p

0.10.0 contains several fixes for window and shell layer placement, better handling of tiled windows, output mapping for tablets and external touchscreens, and lots of code cleanups; 0.11.0 is the same as 0.10.0 except of having wlroots upgraded from ancient 0.12.0 to latest stable 0.14.1. Enjoy!

The 76th edition of my weekly collection of news about #LinuxPhones (@PINE64 #PinePhone, #PinePhonePro, @purism #Librem5 and such), #LinBits, is out!

linmob.net/linbits-75-weekly-l

7 Days in Linux Phones: #PinePhonePro Explorer Edition will be up for order soon, distro releases and Calls and Chatty developments, the #Framebufferphone project, #Meltemi (one Nokia Linux project that never saw the light of day) on camera and more!

@purism @merge thank you for continuing to improve mainline support for this device. Virtually all other OEMs just dump hardware into the wild with old/unmaintained downstream kernels to support it... which is terrible for everyone except the OEM and their bank account.

@purism great news! The #librem5 VoLTE works great on T-Mobile USA!

Calls 42.alpha.0 has been released 🚀

It features avatars in more places, helps phosh handle DTMF on the lockscreen, various UI tweaks, improved history scrolling performance and a couple of fixes.
Have a look at the release notes
gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/calls/-
for details.

Our team works hard to maintain support for the Librem 5 phone. Check out the progress on mainline support for the phone and its development kit. Kudos to the team 🎉 puri.sm/posts/purism-and-linux

Running a tiling WM on your phone sounds like a stupid idea... until you discover #Sxmo. The whole thing is simple but amazing - it takes one or two days to get used to it, but then you know it inside out. Thanks to the built-in extensibility and simple codebase, you can change everything to your liking. This interface and its skilled community have become a great asset in
the wider #linux smartphone ecosystem!
