- searching content in files
- audio and video handling
- downloading files of different formats
Also the way that you frame the question seems to imply IMO (and I can be wrong) that that linux users are all server admins or developers, and that is not the case ;)

The #scale19x memory that will stick with me most is when an unopened soda can left in front of the projector exhaust vent exploded in the middle of my talk like a gunshot, shooting a geyser of soda in the air. I'm going to get so much mileage out of that story.
@Gargron With DB, for long trips I actually started taking trains earlier than what I need just to compensate for the likely delays and missed connections.
@Gargron last time I did a long train trip with DB, bought the ticket online.
The first train of that trip did not existed... I checked the schedules in the station board when I got there and there was no such train.
