@Gargron last time I did a long train trip with DB, bought the ticket online.
The first train of that trip did not existed... I checked the schedules in the station board when I got there and there was no such train.

@wolfi I have several issues with the content of the episodes. But I am still gonna watch the remaining episodes.
TL;DR my notions of anarchism is quite different from anarcho-capitalists as you likely know 😏
Hope we can talk it over a few beers one of these days :)
@wolfi you talking about the HBO series?
Still 3 more episodes to be released. I checked some sites to find out what happened next.

@douginamug when are you going and when are you back?
We currently do not offer ETFs because we are (still) of the opinion that ETFs cannot be sustainable. However, with OnlineInvest we have an offer with really 100% sustainable investments. We have thoroughly tested them according to our strictest investment criteria. Have a look.

"hacker" "news", everybody!
big stack of hacks = working orientation sensor on the @shiftphones SHIFT6mq with #Linux mainline #linuxmobile
(video shows orientation working on a 6mq, the phone rotates :o)
this relies on some impressive hacks and ONLY works because there is no secureboot. wont work on op6!
im too tired to go into detail on this, important notes:
1. this will not work on any other sdm845 device, it only works because secureboot is off and we can therefore patch the hypervisor
2. yes seriously, the hypervisor must be patched to access sensors from #Linux
#linuxmobile
im confident that a proper solution to get sensors working properly on sdm845 devices is possible! until then, someone with a personal vendetta against proprietary firmware figured out how to disable protections and let the kernel access the GPIOs which are usually reserved
for use by the sensor core.
here's the mess of code for those interested. I'm not sure if we'll ship this as it requires flashing a modified hypervisor which is "ehh" at best...
