Okay so, look:

Freedom is a right.

Dominance is a privilege.

If your freedom infringes on the freedom of others, it's dominance, which is not a right. Your privileges do not take precedence over the rights of others.

I think that makes sense.

I'm still just trying to get mms to work. I can send but I still don't receive.

@Secftblgirl
And that is why voting is important. You never know when you will be the deciding voice.

I am a month and a half away from a full year. There was a two week span where I had to go back to the android because the modem stopped working and I had to order a new main board.

I started daily driving my OG #pinephone exactly a month ago, and so far the only reason I turned on my Android phone was to give me access to Signal, andd then to just wipe it fully.

I would call that a success so far!

@jameshjacksonjr
probably way too much.
I tell people all the time that dead cow is my favorite food and dead pig is my favorite condiment.

Inspired by the recent news of Canon bypassing toner DRM and Microsoft's Pluton chip, I wrote a piece that explores how DRM fits into plans to lock general-purpose computers down like printers and smartphones. puri.sm/posts/the-beat-of-a-di

Find out how good you are at placing historical events in the right order with this cool new game based on Wikidata's data:

This is awesome!

Canon can't get enough toner chips, so it's telling customers how to defeat its DRM.

We're running a poll on our website to learn more about the #pinephone community. It is 9 questions long and shouldn't take you more than 2 minutes to fill in.

Thank you and Happy New Year!

@tulpa
I'm planning on getting a librem 14 later this year.

@kyle From the article, "His only option would be to replace the entire battery, which would cost more than $22,600, and he would have to ask Tesla permission to carry out the repair."

So, not only does he have to spend that much to fix it, but he can't even do the repair without permission.
