Louis Rossmann just announced #Grayjay, a product to unify media platforms such as #Youtube, #Twitch, #Peertube, #Odysee, etc, to make it easier to follow a particular creator regardless of platform. Grayjay is paid open-source software with a custom/restrictive license.

Looks like Adafruit is the first organization to reach 600 certified open-source hardware designs at @oshwassociation @OSHWA_OSHW , previously Adafruit was the first to reach 500 certified OSHW designs https://certification.oshwa.org/list.html?q=adafruit we have a bunch more submitted and will do a post, at this time Adafruit is 24.9% of all certified open-source hardware. Special thanks to the Adafruit team submitting these, the API, and @ladyada for a ton of new open-source designs!
Playing with Renoise and monomes on the #MNTReform laptop (A311d CPU). The latency seems to be enough for a live setup, but I wish there were more plugins for ARM #Linux systems.
I gave a talk at Open Source Firmware Conference this year, Reproducible Builds All The Way Down:

Slides available:
It was well received, highlighting many historic #ReproducibleBuilds issues in firmware projects that I maintain in #Debian and touching on the hows and whys of Reproducible Builds.
Open Source Firmware can be a great example of 100% reproducibility, with a narrow scope of code, and is often a key part in early system boot!

Is your laptop upgradeable? Mine is! I got this upgrade in the mail last week.
This A311D module adds WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, and bumps the CPU performance a lot, going from 4x ARM Cortex-A53 cores on the old module, to 2x A53 and 4x A73! Roughly doubled the performance of my computer, and now I also get to use bluetooth headphones 😎🎶
Company: we sell open-source hardware!
Also company: we only provide schematics
...ok, so by that logic, I suppose my IBM PC from 1983 is also open-source hardware
@jacqueline @bnys I can contribute up to $4 and one chicken for the cause.
Some of our users work only with audio material like podcast episodes, so it makes sense that they should be able to negotiate percentages rather than semitones when they use vari-speed :) Here is a quick fix from @PaulDavisTheFirst coming in the next release
Check to see if your country is supported:
https://puri.sm/faq/supported-networks/
Purism's data service uses a T-Mobile backhaul network, and Efani reportedly supports AT&T as well (I have not tested this).
@rohrkrepierer@merovingian.club @purism
Purism has reached Librem 5 shipping parity with the presumable exception of the people who have been unresponsive regarding shipping details.
We've just released Ardour v8 with some long-anticipated new features like improved velocity editing (the lollipops), freehand automation drawing, new Grid tool for tempo mapping live performances, Novation Launchpad Pro support, and more!

@BrodieOnLinux Wayland via Debian Live. I wrote a suite of customization scripts to enable optional persistence and various quality-of-life extras on my desktops/servers. I've daily-driven this method for over 2 years and don't worry about OS upgrades/migrations or what x86-64 hardware I'm using:
Passionate about freedom, libre software/hardware, environmental sustainability, and doing the right thing even when it's inconvenient.
