Louis Rossmann just announced #Grayjay, a product to unify media platforms such as #Youtube, #Twitch, #Peertube, #Odysee, etc, to make it easier to follow a particular creator regardless of platform. Grayjay is paid open-source software with a custom/restrictive license.

“1. We may suspend, terminate or vary the terms of this license and any access to the code at any time, without notice, for any reason or no reason, in respect of any licensee, group of licensees or all licensees including as may be applicable any sub-licensees.”
In other words, not open-source at all. If you use their code, they can take it back at any time.
@jc Interesting concept... in time, though, as platforms get more restrictive and they change to keep you locked in (as we've seen with Twitter and Reddit), I wonder what sorta challenges that would introduce for something like Grayjay.
