@ChrisWere I agree the structure of peertube is better than LBRY since it is noncommercial software.

I have noticed LBRY have issues with latency when viewing a video but overall their interface is a alot more modern looking than peertube and has made it easy to transfer your videos.

I would rather peertube succeed, but there needs to be a big nonprofit org that is willing to handle the big data requirements of big youtube channels.

@hankg NASA could have chosen to continue funding shuttle until the replacement came online. I think that would have been a better choice. Russia is literally riding their 1960s technology with some tweaks. All of their follow-on programs from the last couple decades has been a disaster, including reducing the reliability of their existing systems including their workhorses. In that time the US has developed new launch systems, both traditional and new space. I think reading into it some grand thing is a silly idea.
