TIL the biggest bookstore chain in Taiwan has had a 24-hour location since 1999 & has vowed to always have one. I admire how seriously they take their love of reading & sharing of information in Asia.
@cybette that slogan had been in your heart sence day 1 :)

@cybette yeah I still have my 808 pureview back when Damian Dinning and team worked at Nokia
@cybette Nokia had both the mobile linux OSes and had the Carl Zeiss cameras all in one the perfect combo.
@cybette yeah getting people and companies to write their software for pure linux mobile distros will be hard as well I see why stick with android for the stuff you require from a phone camera!
@cybette I had the first ever iPhone that came out in 2007 but saw it was less functional than the Symbian stuff I was using at the time and didn't keep it long it's a slick package and they had a great marketer aka Steve jobs he could sell you anything lol. But I had mostly Symbian devices had 2 of the Maemo tablets then had a n900 aka my all time favorite then had a n9 some sailfish X devices typing this on my Xperia 10+ with SFOS now I'm gonna use a pinephone with ubports.
@cybette even linux companies like red for an example wont use pure linux phones
I like photography cycling and all things FOSS and decentralized and especially all things Analog and use a LightPhone 2 and PineBook Pro linux laptop and a macbook pro and iphone 13 mini follow me on my new account @jameshjacksonjr@twit.social
