@katherined @Wildbill Can it be that an approval step is added in wildbill settings? And that the icon actually changes, but to a sand glass. I have come across a sand glass in a few cases, which I think is an approval process.

@kyle Aha, oki. Now I notice, under profile settings, a second subheading "Featured hashtags" Followed by the explanation
"What are featured hashtags? They are displayed prominently on your public profile and allow people to browse your public posts specifically under those hashtags. They are a great tool for keeping track of creative works or long-term projects." Make sense to make use of that, beside hastags in posts.

@kyle A tip I should try to follow myself. I've been uncertain how the hashtags helps to find those words, but if it does, it make sens to use them. It actually is a digital equivalent to the traditional key words lists used in eg theses, papers etc.

@zaivala Hmmm, that is an idea to keep in mind! I've read for children in scout and other child/yoyth groups as well as at homes, but never with adults.

@laconicif Your'e welcome. I recommend you subscribe to the mailing list support (see DK website). Also developers are active to answer questions. It also help to understand the sw just by browsing the mails. You can also search the mail list archive. I may also use Rapid photo downloader, RawTherapee and eventually also DarkTable instead/in addition. I'm in an early stage...!

@laconicif I plan to use when I go over to Linux, from Photoshop Elements. I have actually already started to use digiKam on a non-daily Linux driver. Face tag feature is important reason for me. I do not know anything about . does not have face tag feature, therefore it will not be my choice.

I am gradually learning digiKam. Most likely it will be my daily photo asset management software, replacing Photoshop Elements. digikam.org/

It is almost three years since I opened this account. Now is a good time to explore Mastodon further.
