@wildeagle5 It's true that he says "better than the Librem 5" in the end of the video, but it's not clear to me why he says that. Note that for the most part of this video he is using the Phosh user interface, developed by Purism, which runs significantly faster on the Librem 5 than on the PinePhone. I guess he thinks it is fun to go out and say that the cheap alternative is better, maybe that gives him more likes and clicks. See Librem 5 vs PinePhone discussion here forums.puri.sm/t/comparing-the

@someunexpectedsparks There is this issue about unlocking the keyring: source.puri.sm/Librem5/phosh/-
About it rebooting itself, does journalctl show anything that could explain why that happens? Or is it like the power is just suddenly cut off, without even the kernel being aware that it is happening?

@debian I understand very well why Google wants to collaborate with Debian, but why would Debian want to collaborate with Google? If this is a step towards Google getting more influence over Debian, then this collaboration is bad news. Take a look at what Google is and what Google is doing to the world today. Google's near-monopoly position on a lot of things is dangerous. Please, please, stay independent from Google.

@mntmn Hi, looks like the crowdsupply.com/mnt/reform page needs to be updated (it says orders placed now ship Feb 15, 2021). Is there a new estimate of when preordered MNT Reform will start shipping? Can't wait to get mine 🙂

@akenyg Fint!

Bra grejer.

@silverwizard The thing is, Android users don't really own the hardware. The true owner is Google, and Google will only allow the hardware to be used in a way that benefits Google.

@selea I was a teacher for a while, for a bit older kids but I think the pros and cons are largely the same. I think the main advantage of homework is that it can get the parents involved. But that also means inequality, because the kids learning becomes dependent on who their parents are. If we want schools to give all kids equal opportunities, then better skip the homework for those young ages.

@linmob Hi! Odysee refuses to let me watch it without creating an account there, is there any way to get around that. to watch your video without an odysee account?

@codesections Don't you think it means kind of like "nohup" for a command, maybe meaning that "I will be away for a while and I want the rest of you to carry on without waiting for me to be back"?

@eloquence Why did it enter the public domain at this particular time, what determines that? Does this happen for all books that are old enough?
