Yeah why does Google think they know the age or gender or anything about people watching, apparently with 100% certainty?
Oh well, I guess Google is just a small company trying to get started, how would poor little Google know anything about handling user data. 🙃
Seriously though, please publish videos elsewhere, at least if you want me to watch them. Not going to Google's sites, whatever my age and gender is I don't want them to try and guess it and lie about it.

Förslaget är ett uppenbart brott mot de mänskliga rättigheterna och EU-nämnden i Sveriges riksdag måste därför säga nej. Det finns acceptabla alternativ till #ChatControl2.

Bland annat gör det att man lättare kan veta vad man sysslar med. Man kan tydligt se och själv välja om den är inkopplad eller inte, bara en sån sak.
@mttaggart just to see if I understand what you mean: the risk you talk about here, is the risk that it can suddenly happen that you can no longer use the software you have been relying on?
@fantomtexter jag tror att en klassiker som pågått i alla år med alla regeringar är att man kallar det en "satsning" när man ökar antalet kronor som läggs på X även om det i praktiken handlar om nedskärning eftersom inflation och ökade behov gör att mer pengar än "satsningen" hade behövts för att upprätthålla samma nivå som tidigare i verksamheten. Kan gälla vård/skola/polis/vadsomhelst.

This #FOSSNorth talk https://conf.tube/w/d68VGvtAaYc1ptvdkuXwv8 is about this issue, there Simon Phipps says he doubts that organizations like the "Linux Foundation" can be trusted in this matter, because they ultimately represent large companies and their interests.
Best try to influence EU in other ways, maybe through other organizations, not relying on the Linux Foundation to take care of this.
