YouTube tells me the gender distribution of the audience watching the video I post there.
Let's just say that it is a little uneven... 😕
@bagder YouTube's data can be extremely wonky in my experience. I've particularly never given much of a modicum of trust towards data about the viewers themselves because there's no "unknown" option, so what are they defaulting to with people who haven't provided certain data or aren't signed in?
Yeah why does Google think they know the age or gender or anything about people watching, apparently with 100% certainty?
Oh well, I guess Google is just a small company trying to get started, how would poor little Google know anything about handling user data. 🙃
Seriously though, please publish videos elsewhere, at least if you want me to watch them. Not going to Google's sites, whatever my age and gender is I don't want them to try and guess it and lie about it.
