About the mallard (gräsand in Swedish) Wikipedia says: "The mallard or wild duck (Anas platyrhynchos) is a dabbling duck that breeds throughout the temperate and subtropical Americas, Eurasia, and North Africa."

So the gräsand is a "dabbling duck", and that's not an insult or a joke or anything, it's just a fact. They dabble, so they are dabbling ducks. :-)

These flags were hoisted today close to where I live in #Bergshamra, #Solna, #Sweden, I think the occasion today is to celebrate somebody's birthday. All flags blue and yellow, but the one in the middle has a different pattern.

Enjoying this Christmas tree next to the library close to where I live.

I imagine how the person who put this up was thinking. "Okay let's see, what did they say the job was? Make sure it does not fall over... ok, concrete blocks in place, check. Decorate with lights, they did not say how much, one side should be enough... check. All done. let's go home!"

Good job, we need more of this attitude around Christmas. Less stress, more chill. 🙂

The number of signatures on the anti-#RMS open letter on github is down from 3009 to 3004.

Part of #Brunnsviken north of Stockholm #shotonlibrem5 using the #megapixels #camera app from https://source.puri.sm/dorota.czaplejewicz/megapixels with default settings in #PureOS byzantium. The image file ended up as a 2463552 bytes .tiff file in ~/Pictures/ which I then made into a .jpg file using the "convert" program. Maybe @dos knows tricks to get better image quality? 🙂 (One issue seems to be that bright areas get too bright.) #librem5 #freesoftware @purism @martijnbraam
