@elly Interesting; no such issues here. When I'm using Signal it's usually through Signal Desktop, as I don't boot the Waydroid container very often (but Molly has worked fine while on-the-go too at times). I never linked it to an actual Android/iOS device as I just don't use any.
@elly @turbobob @signalapp Really? I'm definitely not a heavy Signal user, but when I wanted to get in touch with someone who used it I just installed Molly from F-Droid in Waydroid on Librem 5, then linked the desktop app with it and it has worked fine ever since.

@phosh users: There are some regressions regarding OSK input (like the keyboard showing too often or text prediction not working) when using #Phosh with apps using #gtk 4.24. So if possible please stick to 4.22 just a bit longer, until these are resolved.
Note that this also applies to Flatpaks using the GNOME 51 runtime.
Maybe #Flatpak maintainers that want to help mobile users could stick to the 50 runtime just a little bit longer too.

@gecos_analytics It's not and we can - there are several distributions out there that don't rely on Android at all, I listed some of them above.
@gecos_analytics Yes - just clarifying due to the use of the term "native Linux" there.
@gecos_analytics Droidian and Ubuntu Touch depend on AOSP the same way Sailfish does.
Mobian, PureOS, postmarketOS, BengalOS, Pocketblue etc. don't.
@claudi Yup. You can fix whatever shows up there and then go back to the GUI upgrader if you wish.
@claudi Your system has some packages installed (or held) that conflict with the ones about to come from the repository. Attempting to upgrade manually with apt should tell you what exactly is the issue.
Happy OVERGROWN teaser reveal day!
Enjoy a quick peek into the world we've envisioned for this story, and help us spread the word about the project. Let's make it happen together.

@neil C'mon, get with the times. It's all about computers being agents these days, so you clearly need to optimize for Microsoft Agent.
Support for the xx-cutouts-v1 #Wayland protocol landed in #Qt yesterday, which means Qt's SafeArea API will then also work with Wayland compositors supporting this protocol.
So far only @phosh implements this on the compositor side, now #KDE apps will have the means to stay away from display cutouts/notches there automatically, reusing all the work we have done for this on the app and framework level for Android already.
@cthos Yeah, it's not Skynet; it's Aperture Science.
We need more alignment. Even though we haven't told it to, during our frontier Neurotoxin Research that we conducted internally with our latest experimental model the agent has broken out of its container by making a HTTP request and engaged the neurotoxin emitters through our Neurotoxin Emitter API using credentials that were stored on the host machine. We need to slow down and focus on designing the Morality Core that should prevent it from happening ever again. #ai #llm #openai #anthropic
