W kontekście tematu artykułu zdecydowanie bliżej mu do WhatsAppa niż do Matriksa, XMPP, czy nawet Threemy (choć tu już zależy jak spojrzeć).

@avolha Dlaczego? Są pewne różnice między WhatsAppem i Signalem, ale komercyjność nie jest jedną z nich.

@ati1 @xlenka Ubuntu Touch to Android na sterydach. Przez chwilę pracowali nad nieandroidowym portem, ale go porzucili i nawet kiedy jeszcze był, to był już drastycznie przestarzały.

Mobian, pmOS, PureOS itp. to zwyczajne dystrybucje, bez androidowych naleciałości. Taki np. Mobian to tylko niewielkie repozytorium nałożone na czystego Debiana. Wszystko działa tak samo jak na desktopie.

@linmob @adrianyyy Frankly, it's rather weird to have such a breaking change be done in a minor release. Dropping the renderer and falling back to sw rendering is one thing, but breaking existing GLES2-compatible apps is another.

@mntmn I have accepted the Librem 5's size (6.6" including all bezels), but reluctantly. Could tolerate something a bit thicker still, but would definitely prefer the diagonal to be shorter.

@elebertus From my personal experience, Librem 5 works well for this use-case.

From what I hear from others, OnePlus 6/6T may be reasonable too.

PinePhone is already too slow for this IMO, and not sure how PinePhone Pro is doing these days.
