Well, removed my sdcard (containing /home) also and got the same result: #mobian not booting on my #pinephone.

Would be nice to make a mount fail during boot more graceful in #mobian.

But anyway, not all hope is lost. You need a serial connection if you're sure your phone does not boot from another sdcard anymore.

Thanks a lot for your opinion. I feel like that it is exactly what I do agree to and share.

The biased moderation is what bugged me about the imagination of a federation of little kingdoms in which each king decides what opinion can be voiced.

I tend to understand Purisms idea: Stop moderating. To not make people see any content they might find disturbing disable timelines.

Each person now decides which people to follow, to mute to block and what hashtags to look at.

- Matrix: Discussing, which steps might help you.

- Wiki: Writing something to explain how to get it done.

- Matrix or Wiki: Suggestions, improvements, questions.

- If problem persists: start over.

From what I know now I cannot really grab your problem. Keeping speculating wouldn't help to improve the situation, especially not the overall situation.

I looked at the mobian-wiki troubleshooting page and didn't find anything that would help you. There should be some basic things written down. I registered and I'm willing to write them for you and for anybody else running into problems.

I'm slow (working, father, engaged with some projects). If you don't care, we'll get there.

How did you copy the files to the sdcard?

Did you remove the card from the phone?

Ja, habe ich.

Das ist jetzt schon Mist: Steuererklärung extra dafür, hart an der Grenze des Verlusts, Verwaltungsaufwand für immer neue Registrierungen.

Bei dem Umgang mit den Betreibern von kleinen Anlagen, die den Strom netzfreundlich in der Fläche erzeugen, darf man sich nicht wundern, dass der Ausbau hinter dem Bedarf zurückbleibt.

Holland macht vor, wie das ganz ohne Büroktratie funktionieren kann und hat den entsprechenden Erfolg bei Akzeptanz und Zubau.

Out of interest tried it and couldn't replicate your problem. Well, didn't follow the wiki to the letter, because my card had already been formated using ext2, but that shouldn't make a difference...

Rebooted my #pinephone running #mobian after some updates today.

Uptime 330232 seconds without any glitch or clock error.

But why is the screen going on and off all the time while the phone lies on my desk?

Wonder whether that stops after the updates and the reboots.

Otherwise I'll look into the system dbus messages I saw at the same time the screen went on and off again (no, didn't push any button, just watched the serial console ;-) ).
