The #firefox on my #mobian #pinephone had been running with --no-remote --private.
In /home/mobian/.local/share/applications I have a .desktop file with those options added.
I do not remember that I put the file there and changing the options to not include --no-remote solved the problem that I had opening an url out of e.g. tootle when firefox is already running.
Just changed the vetical scrollbar of #firefox on my #pinephone from the right side to the left. Works better for me, because I do not scroll accidantly using the scrollbar when swiping a page up or down.
But still I can`t open urls from #tootle when firefox is already running. A #mobian issue with the .desktop file?
Hm, after waking up my #pinephone running #mobian it sometimes shows two messages in the top menu:

Because of those messages the blue led is blinking.
I'd like to disable them - any idea how (beside deleting the nextcloud account ;) )?
I've always been annoyed, that there is no sane way to use programs on my android phone on my desktop and use the keyboard I'm working at.
Sometimes I want to send off an #sms and just want that dialog of the phone be available on my notebook.
On the #mobian #pinephone just compiled #waypipe as well as on my notebook.
On my notebook using waypipe called #chatty via ssh on my #pinephone. Chatty showed up on my notebook :).
Sending and receiving works.

Latent sofort das antrainierte negative Gefühl, dass ich jetzt möglicherweise auf einer Bildschirmtastatur die Antwort tippen muss.
Ah, nein, Bluetooth Tastatur aufklappen, Antwort im 10-Finger-Anschlag tackern.
Klar, geht vielleicht auch unter #Android oder #iOS. Da habe ich es aber wegen Telefonkonditionierung nicht genutzt.
Auf dem Linux Telefon bin ich Linux-konditioniert ;-).

Es bleibt unklar, woher die Probleme beim Versuch #Bluetooth Tastatur und Maus gleichzeitig am #Pinephone zu betreiben kamen.
Ich musste meine udev .rules-Datei wegen der Maus noch anpassen, da die Maus sich dreist als Tastatur ausgibt: https://codeberg.org/ChriChri/switch_keyboard/issues/1
Jetzt ist der Pinephone-#Mobian-Taschenrechner fertig.
Verbesserungswürdig: Zuviel Platz auf dem Display wird von "Leisten" belegt.
Außerdem passt das Telefon mit Silikonhülle nicht in die Halterung.
Nachdem die #Bildschirmtastatur nun verschwindet, wenn ich eine externe Tastatur anschließe, wollte ich zusätzlich zur Bluetooth Tastatur noch eine Bluetoot Maus anschließen.
Leider musste ich feststellen, dass beides gleichzeitig nicht auf meinem #Pinephone unter #Mobian möglich zu sein scheint.
An meinem Notebook scheint es kein Problem mit der Kombination zu geben.
Muss ich mir wohl nocheinmal in Ruhe anschauen...
Das #Pinephone passt im Querformat solala in die Halterung meiner #BluetoothTastatur LG Rolly.
Jedesmal, wenn ich Text eingeben soll (z.B. in Formularen auf Internet-Seiten) aktivierte #mobian die #Bildschirmtastatur und belegte kostbaren Platz.
Dank #OpenSource und netter #Community gibt es jetzt eine udev-Regel, die die Bildschirmtastatur bei Anschluss einer externen Tastatur deaktiviert und ein App Icon um sie an- und abzuschalten.
Gestern habe ich einige Male mit dem #Pinephone unter #Mobian telefoniert.
Beim ersten Anruf habe ich es vom Ladekabel abgezogen und nicht wieder angesteckt.
Heute habe ich es dann wieder angeschlossen.
#Standby-Zeit mit zwei geführten Telefonaten: Knapp 24h.
Bei meinem #Pinephone ist die Lautstärkeregelung deutlich feiner abgestuft als bei meinem anderen Telefon.
Das ist beim Musikhören wirklich nett.
Mir kam gleich der Gedanke, wie ich das wohl in einem anderen Smartphone selbst angepasst hätte.
Ansonsten habe ich versucht mein Sennheiser MB660 #Headset per #Bluetooth zum Telefonieren zu verwenden und das hat leider nicht funktioniert.
Wechsle ich das Mikrofon in den Audioeinstellungen kommt ein lautes Tröööten...
Gestern hatte ich einen Anruf (ja, das gibt es noch, Menschen rufen noch an um miteinander zu sprechen. Heißt ja schließlich auch #Mobiltelfon :) ).
Ersatztelefon und #Pinephone mit #Mobian lagen nebeneinander. Beide haben geklingelt.
Ich wollte an das #Pinephone gehen. Leider hat es zu lange gedauert, bis das Fenster mit dem Knopf zur Rufanzeige angezeigt wurde. Aber die Anruferin war eben auch nicht besonders geduldig mit 5 Klingelzeichen.
Gestern Abend habe ich das #Pinephone zum Laden an einen USB-C Ethernet/HDMI-Adapter mit Netzteileingang (bis zu 60W Ladeleistung) angeschlossen.
Am Adapter war ein USB-Netzteil 2,5A angeschlossen.
Heute Mittag war das Telefon warm, aber der Akku nicht geladen. Ladeerhaltung/Stromverbrauch ohne Akkueinsatz hatte schon eine Woche funktioniert.
Ich habe das Netzteil dann direkt angeschlossen und jetzt lädt der Akku. Die Temperatur des Telefons ist gleich geblieben.
Mein #Pinephone benutze ich zusammen mit einer LG Rolly Bluetooth Tastatur, die sehr klein ist und immer dabei sein kann. Leider passt das Telefon nicht in der Silikonhülle in die Halterung. Ohne Hülle im Querformat funktioniert das Tippen prima, wie man an diesem Trööt mit #Tootle sehen kann.
Verbesserungsvorschläge:
- Wenn eine Tastatur verbunden ist, nicht die Bildschirmtastatur einblenden
- Tastenkürzel für Anwendungsmenü und Ausblenden der Bildschirmtastatur
Wenn man ausgetretene Pfade verlassen will, muss man in Kauf nehmen, dass der Weg auch mal schlechter wird.
Ich will versuchen häufiger mein #Pinephone mit #Mobian zu verwenden und das Android so langsam überflüssig machen. Als Backup bei technischen Pannen werde ich mir ein dummes Telefon mitnehmen.
Unter #LinuxTelefonSelbstversuch will ich aufschreiben, welche Erfahrungen ich mache und wo es noch hakt.
Soviel vorweg: Ich glaube nicht, dass Mobian schon für die breite Masse bereit ist.

YES, THAT is the screenshot of an ssh session on my PHONE.
It becomes more and more usual and normal to see that, but it can't be emphasized enough ;-).
I even couldn't imagine this when I ordered my #Librem5 and later the #Pinephone. I knew they would run Linux, but I couldn't imagine how it would be using a Linux phone.
Exchanged the mainboard and restored the image of the #mobian I already used on my old 2GB RAM / 16 GB eMMC mainboard.
So far no #timetravel. It looks like the mainboard of my #pinephone UBPorts edition had a hardware issue.
With the old board it ran for a few days without problems already, once, but the clock usually jumped within 24h.
If the error does not return thereby confirming the suspected hardware problem, is there interest to look further into the problem, @PINE64?
Today arrived the new #mainboard for my #pinephone.
This means that my old mainboard these days will start its #timetravel back in my time forward to my history.
I'm curious whether the new board will behave different and maybe the problems with the clock will be gone.
BTW - the transport (standard) from @PINE64 to Germany took eight days. The parcel arrived by Deutsche Post and not by DHL. I didn't have to pay any fees or taxes.
Only downside: After first boot #mobian and #pinephone already fled to future year 2116 after staying only ~5270 seconds with me.
The ability to #timetravel improved greatly.
That might be because of the new u-boot which probably reset my lower clocked ram to the standard value.
@devrtz, what do you think?
I really look forward to my new mainboard. I can't wait to try it and compare the stability to the older one...
