@yes @lbry @mian you don't need to run a full blockchain node to seed content. Actually seeding is extremely easy just install the desktop app and it will seed all content you watch as long as you allow it. I did run a full LBRY blockchain node previously by following their readme on github, didn't run into any issues. What problems did you face?
@yes @lbry @mian good question. But LBRY is a protocol not a website, so the copyright infringement on LBRY Inc. does not stand as long as they are not seeding that content themselves. LBRY Inc. not seeding something doesn't mean that content is banned on LBRY protocol. As long as the uploader or someone else on LBRY protocol network is seeding that content it will be accessible. That is the beauty of #decentralized P2P networks like LBRY
Instead of #phosh I'm using a test client to hack on #phoc's gesture support. The red bar basically maps to phosh's top-panel. Red meaning `folded`, green `moving` and blue `unfolded`. The first prereqs for this are already merged and I hope to submit more over the next weeks. Animations need more work as does cancelation, etc but it's moving forward. The way it's implemented works for other kinds of gestures too and also for mouse and laptop touchpad gestures.

@aligyie @ken_fallon @Fairphone ... Otherwise Qualcomm doesn't really have much reason to support their chips for longer and fair phone would have to keep wasting their developer time to support chips beyond Qualcomm's support (which I believe is a pathetic 2-3 years). Having a open alternative gives Qualcomm a good reason to provide longer support as they will see the potential for losing out to competition.
@aligyie @ken_fallon @Fairphone I understand why #fairphone is building phones using Qualcomm chips (others are not fast enough for masses or not optimized for mobile) but if they really want to build a sustainable smartphone in long term they must at least have a community edition phone with open hardware and let the community build the software like @PINE64 is doing ...
