It looks like it runs a command inside a limited environment with limited permissions.
Whatever is in your `/usr/lib/qemu-minimal-static` determines the limited environment (so having that set up is a prerequisite to the usefulness of this program).
It seems to be a specific use-case of the `chroot` program.

gcc had to be compiled with a closed source compiler before it could compile itself; Maybe you have to download and use a virus-ridden 7z program before you can use a free one.

I think i meant the `mogrify` script. Inkscape's `convert` makes a copy of the file, `mogrify` modifies the file(s) in-place.

Spent some time this evening working on [Otter](https://github.com/poowf/otter), a free content management framework for laravel (PHP framework). It's promising, but currently leans heavily on a vue.js frontend... for now...

Thou since you're using the android share menu, you could just as well use imagepipe to resize the images (then use whatever you want for storing them). https://f-droid.org/app/de.kaffeemitkoffein.imagepipe

With nextcloud and nextcloud flow, you could create a script to resize uploaded images with the imagemagick `convert` command.

It would be nice to have some estimate of number of users (number of dowloads, by app version, perhaps?). Stuff that FOSS-loving individuals can bring to their employers who want a business case for going open source/distributing on F-Droid.

The `mv` command is poorly named, since what it really does is rename a file. KDE's "move" sounds like an accurate depiction of what moving is about. (Though, ideally, you'd delete the original file as it's being copied, but that's not how most filesystems work).
