Looks like Lemmy "sub-reddit" are activitypub groups and thus can be followed: @technology

Interesting!

Turns out it's easier to just update to 7 than to figure out how to have multiple runtimes on a mac and get all of them recognized in all your tools...

@fishcharlie They are probably ways I could improve that stat/page to better show the health of the system 🤔

@fishcharlie Yeah, that's a bit out of date now. The stats on the page refreshes every 5 minutes to save on server load. The current stats if I check manually is 42 minutes

It's probably going to be time load balance the main web server between more than one server soon too, we are getting often rate limited from twitter on that one. That's why there are often errors when loading tweets from the web UI

So one of bird.makeup server was down today and I just fixed it. It's probably going to be time soon to replace it with something beefier on OVH as we approach 30k users.

A bit thanks to all the supporters of this project that will make this switch possible! 🤗

It’s Not About Status, Elon. Only Now It Is.
It's been about 48 hours since Elon killed legacy checkmarks in an attempt to convince people, but hopefully especially celebrities, to make the switch. How's it going?

Please don't clog up the Transgender Concerns Form with so many spurious reports that it becomes unusable, and the Missouri government gets Big Mad. Because that would be wrong. Here's a link to the form so you'll know exactly where not to do that: ago.mo.gov/file-a-complaint/tr

@experiencersinternational there are reasonable arguments against it though, the strength of the fediverse is that we can agree to disagree on that and move on. Some servers allow it and some don’t

@aurynn @experiencersinternational also if you have users that depends on some of the mirrors you can also run your own instance, with an allow list if you want
