The ones focusing on the mobile apps are the ones more readily exposing what they truly want.
Going after individual ways to log into a website doesn't "keep them away from you". In fact, instance blocks and mutes are 100x more effective; they apply regardless of the app the target's using.
What these folks are really asking for is, "I want people outright punished and inconvenienced."
It's was never about safety. It's about oppression. Ironic.
