@kop316 @blendergeek @kyle @agx There are plenty of good reasons to buy #Librem5, and now as a happy owner of #MNTreform laptop I can only confirm a good choice of hardware (I was a bit skeptical about it comparing to Rpi3B+ of a similar architecture) is just yet another one. It's not getting old/obsolete, merely seasoned.

@sam Nah thanks, if I want to gamble with my money I better play into etf than nft, that stuff is similarly intangible but at least understandable, although being driven by similar mechanic nowadays it is still derived from tangible securities therefore have own trend apart of the hype.

@dcz Ok if the goal is not just to wander around with kids and have fun then yes, need something to track the progress towards the goal set. As for getting lost - definitely need something with a map and some positioning, whatever is available (I remember once using kindle 3g with its free whispernet and mobile positioning from google maps).
@dcz Nothing, because why should I? It's recreational for me, neither I wear specific gadget while walking. Although I do wear my pebble time steel but I forgot when last time I watched its health bars.

@kyle Also to add on a Pluto topic - wasn't it the main driver behind Valve pushing towards SteamOS/SteamBox? Microsoft already announced it once, there was major backlash, now they heat the water slowly ultimately targeting the same end result - boiled kagouti.

@mondoshawan @mntmn In this case it's even worse, there's a stockpile of units waiting to be delivered, but CS/Mouser are not moving ahead to order those units to fulfill pre-orders (either due to xmass break, or due to ongoing acquisition and merge, or both).
@sam @cstanhope I think my prius '18 is the last "totally electronic" but fully offline car. It has some dumb online apps but they cannot even connect anywhere (because toyota gave up on harman kardon head units)
