@kyle ah yes. That makes sense. One thing I always hated about Fedora was the requirement to reinstall like every 6 months or whatever since Redhat doesn’t really care and Fedora is just their testing playground and a release based model. Can bluefin just be upgraded perpetually?

I'm looking at designing and building a custom flatbed for my truck/camper combo. I usually wing things but thought it would be neat to use CAD (only #freesoftware ). Seems like #freecad might be the answer here. Any recommended tutorials out there from regular users?

@mobian If a "friend" happened to do this when not paying attention the other day... will another apt full-upgrade fix this once its ready? :)

@alex_m I wonder if #qubesos people can use this? One of the problems they have with moving dom0 to #gnome from #xfce is being able to color the individual appvm windows

@ajmartinez Aweome thank you!. I have no problem with USB-C to DP on it, just HDMI -> HDMI and joined displays.

@ajmartinez Have you used just a single HDMI monitor connected to the L14 HDMI port on PureOS and seen if Joined Displays works? I seem to be having trouble after the recent EC upgrade and I"m wondering if its just me lol

@ajmartinez I got pretty hooked on PureOS after using it for a couple years

@ajmartinez @kyle I'm pretty sure the audio jack not working is a known issue and is being worked on by Purism/Mr Chromebox for an EC update

@ajmartinez ah i see. keep up with the updates :) I've been going back and forth with Qubes for a while so always good to see how its working on the L14 that I hope to use for a long time

@ajmartinez Interesting. I read your post and noticed you mentioned abrupt shutoffs. I've had that problem with my L14 too, not connected to a hub or anything else or even working it hard. Happens more often on battery, don't remember it happening when plugged in yet
