@joeo10 @thrrgilag
At home I usually only use a laptop with one extra monitor. But now since I work from home 100 percent of the time I throw together every thing I had to try and mimic my office setup.
@thrrgilag I guess technically I have 3 keyboards too. And many screens. Can't have enough screens when in the middle of big ops and have to watch a billion things at once :)
@thrrgilag my wrists hurt just watching that :)
@thrrgilag yep finally something interesting to watch from the home office lol
@cvieira @purism
Not at all. They are taking about Pureboot: https://docs.puri.sm/PureBoot.html
@haeckerfelix they also said that all the demos were running on their own arm silicon.
@thrrgilag you don't enjoy cheap plastic gears grinding together with a bunch of janky hinges, proprietary drivers and vendor locked ink refills forced before they are even empty? :P
@thrrgilag Absolutely everything turned off. Notifications off etc. Full screen terminal and tmux... Maybe you will forget that you are using windows! 😁
@thrrgilag lol thats ridiculous. Thankfully we use whatever we want at work. I just have an old desktop on my desk that I rdp to if I need to do something in Windows
@thrrgilag Whats a hosted desktop?
@thrrgilag Whenever I have to use Windows for work I always expect it to work perfectly and be easy to use. Instead, its always a disorganized disaster with problems you can't even fix yourself. Its so bad these days
Anyone have any advice on a decent #solderingiron from Amazon?
@thrrgilag
I love #awesomewm if you haven't tried that yet.
@thrrgilag As is everything else of course
@kyle interesting idea for sure
@todd working free software Bluetooth drivers? Awesome!
@thrrgilag somehow I've never heard of this. I've used #gnome and #awesomewm back and forth for a long time. Sounds like this could be a compromise. Definitely looking at this further tomorrow. Thanks!
