@jwildeboer Isn't it great that all the mobile SoC manufacturers will update their BSPs with the fix, and all the device manufacturers will update their Android builds and then offer the updated builds to their users and it will all happen in a timely fashion with no problems and all the companies involved won't shirk any responsibilities and they'll continue to use their high quality forks because upstreaming stuff doesn't reduce maintenance burdens so there's no need?

@dude @thegibson @lnxw37a2 Keep your friends close but your enemies closer.
Just make sure not to see information you shouldn't. I've heard from a GCHQ contractor that sometimes when that happens, the workers who see the information are put on medical leave, "treated", and aren't the same when they come back.
@wyliecoyoteuk You believe leave voters were trashing their kids future but your beliefs, fortunately, do not effect leave voters' relationships with their kids.
...and haptic feedback in calls when receiving a phone call on the #librem5 (as yesterday (https://social.librem.one/@agx/103561184406010030), the audio is important)
Initial support for booting the Librem 5 Phone has just landed in PostmarketOS!
@amcewen Abergwyngregyn? I was up there before Christmas :-) I went up the valley to Llyn Anafon though. I'll go to the falls next time I reckon.
That area is pretty cool. If you haven't been, I'd recommend Tal y Fan too, and Meini Hirion stone circle above Penmaenmawr.
@hhardy01 LOL, I read that thinking it was some quote from a McCarthy-era news report. Crazy humans.
@Rastal PSA: You can download and install Debian without charge, and you get to be free of Microsoft.
@gamingonlinux yeah you said that
@bart Some notes: firstly a while ago I spoke to the Plasma Mobile team and there was not a consensus on whether Plasma Mobile was a distribution; some thought it was, others thought it wasn't. That may have changed. Secondly, I wouldn't describe "phosh" as a desktop environment; it's just a shell in the same way that GNOME Shell is just a shell and the DE is actually GNOME. Lastly, Nemo Mobile, as a distribution, stopped functioning a long time ago. The last Nemo image was released in 2014.
@sir I think, Mr DeVault, that this would be an appropriate time for you to create such a language to demonstrate :-)
"Once people stop asking for permission to improve their surroundings"
Just out of curiosity, why do you believe people will stop asking permission?
@mkwadee Don't worry too much about them. They won't be around for long :-)
