Thinking again about how the tools for our own liberation are all around us. Aside from power lines and fiber optics, were surrounded by train tracks just waiting to carry passengers again, hotels that will be easy to turn into housing for all, and so much more.

It'll be work to get there, for sure, but a better world is so close!

@Zuph I've been thinking about this lately too. Like all the abandoned buildings that could be turned into community centers. Skilled workers gathering inside to train their neighbors on how to keep everything running now that nothing's outsourced to China, or even to the next state. All the land ready to be planted in

Once people stop asking for permission to improve their surroundings, the new world will begin. And the time, labor, and resources that capitalism deemed worthless will all come together to build it

"Once people stop asking for permission to improve their surroundings"

Just out of curiosity, why do you believe people will stop asking permission?
