@mwoliver we use GPG and only you have access to the keys. We put a bit of effort into simplifying the setup so that is easier for people to start using GPG.

I’ve preordered a Librem 5, but hope both phones are a great success.
I’ve been following the Librem 5 for about a year now, and it sounds like when it launches September 24, it will be perfectly usable. From this article, I think the PinePhone will be in a “perfectly usable” state come March 2020.
Finally, true GNU/Linux phones, coming VERY soon 🙂
