@plantarum Try streaming radio with Cantata. On Ubuntu or Arch it comes preconfigured for easy search of internet radio. My favorite stations I've found through Cantata.
Found a super #bash cheatsheet https://devhints.io/bash
It includes parameter expansion/substitution stuff:
${FOO#prefix}
${FOO%%suffix}
which is very handy for trimming file extensions and creating output file names from input basenames etc. Which is stuff I do frequently enough to know there's a quick solution, but too rarely to remember the syntax
@plantarum Been using #qgis for geologic mapping since 2011 and the android app #qfield. Qfield runs qgis but adds touchscreen functionality. Current version has bee hive demo data that is fun, you might like it. Complete game changer having my GIS map and data with me in the field. Reams and reams of lab data are a quick tap away!
Apple canceled the project to encrypt iCloud backups two years ago due to pressure from the FBI because it "would deny them the most effective means for gaining evidence against iPhone-using suspects" #privacy
Some old favorites in this list.

@wnymathguy @purism @shahaan@mastodon.social I completely understand now. Another question, with regards to librem.one VPN, I thought I heard that it will be private internet access. Is this correct? Or will purism use there own VPN?
