I've found proper screwdrivers and brought my Late 2011 MacBook Pro back from the dead. It's a nice laptop actually with quad-core Core i7 and 16 gigs of RAM. The battery even has 70% of its original capacity as I was wise enough to disconnect it before storing it for several years. I'll try putting Void on it and see if it's any good 😋
Does anyone have experience installing #Pleroma into a subdirectory so it's name.tld/pleroma , not pleroma.name.tld ?
There is a path variable for http endpoint and making .well-known accessible from top level doesn't sound hard, but you don't see such a setup often thus it might lack testing, I wonder if it works as expected 🤔
Watching The Terminal List made me want to rewatch both Sicario movies. And I still think I like the second one more than Villeneuve's. Yeah, the drama, but it's an action movie anyway and I still prefer drama in the second one: at least we see betrayal, doubts about doing what's right… First movie is just CIA being dicks — which they of course are 🤷
@curiousthinker Man, you are not going to believe what I did because I woke up early in the morning and was looking for something to entertain myself with!
I've built native Vim for ARM64 edition of Windows 11. On a phone! Damn, how did I end up here?🫠
My original intent was to set Pleroma up on my Void PowerPC box, but while stuff was building I've found this device lying around — and there I have it!
Even the transparency hack works with native DLL😊
@iska@mk.starnix.network My SSD is perfectly fine, Micron utility says so and yours is most probably too. But the way these errors make it to the kernel logs it does look scary 😅
@iska@mk.starnix.network I've migrated from #btrfs to ext4 on my laptop today. Yeah, I know, but I've never used any of the advanced features and ext4 is a tiny bit more performant. I've seen read errors very similar to the ones you've had. I did some reading and looks like it's the way btrfs works: when there is a checksum mismatch, the filesystem just marks the file unreadable forever instead of returning the corrupt data. There is no way to fix it the ext4-way, you can only overwrite the file
This song is called "Civil war. Offensive". And the band's name can be translated as "Polite refusal". It's something like Russian art-rock. The song is as you may have guessed about civil war that took place between dissolution of Russian Empire and formation of Soviet Union. It references some historical figures of that era. Song has a sequel called "Civil war. Retreat".
You should see these guys live even if it's performance for TV or radio. They are good!
This pumpkin is awesome! I didn't even have to scrub the insides, it just peeled off like it's an orange. This is the first time I see something like this. And it smells wonderful! 😋
