@StefanThinks
People often use it for their little frolics that often lead to making babies 😊

@sourcreampringles_SoundCloud
Some people might just have locked accounts so they have to authorise the migrating account manually — this usually takes time. Some might've switched to a different account themselves and followed you from it, there is no point for them to follow you from their old one 🤷
I mean instance-wide blocks have certainly contributed, but it could be not THAT bad.

@Tutanota
I still think that using incendiary munitions would be more effective… But making them sell Chrome is a good idea too! 😈

@newt @genmaicha
"Classical liberalism" IS essentially libertarianism — the way Hayek conceived it. Some libertarians who decided that sucking up to US conservatives (and sometimes even to those who are much worse) is a good strategy just hijacked the term.

@genmaicha @newt
How is that different from libertarian ideas such as minarchism? They rely on the same concept of state's monopoly on violence 🤷
Those two are exactly the same idea, but painted with different colours to split people adopting the idea apart and turn them against each other.

@genmaicha @newt
Kropotkin was very much critical of the state involvement, if he isn't one of the most influential figures of anarchism, then who is?

@Erklaerbaer @nixCraft
This reminds me, I even started writing an extensive reply to someone before, in which I explored why I don't like the idea… But forgot to post it 😅
I should find that draft and post it on my gemlog instead ☝️

@Erklaerbaer
Not for me either! On the surface they look like public key authentication made worse: the one you have less control over, tied to a particular device/browser or relying on someone's "ecosystem" for synchronisation across devices — leading to even greater centralisation, due to which to a greater degree phishing attacks became so effective in the first place…
@nixCraft

@Erklaerbaer @nixCraft
It's this and not passkeys or some other shiny new toy that makes you phishing resistant 😁

@astian
That's great, I'll give Midori another try then! Thanks!

@astian
I was a heavy Midori user back in the days when it was using WebKit, at some point the underlying engine was switched to that of Chromium, which is a no-go for me.
What engine does it currently use, is it indeed that of Firefox?

@82mhz
Oh, sorry, I didn't quite get the question — do you want something the blends well with hardware/software of the era? I don't think that even default MastoFE stands out that much, look at what I did here: social.librem.one/@m0xee/10922
Problem is — it might not work in those browsers… 😅
You know what? My suggestion still holds, Bloat might look even more authentic as it's basic HTML with minimal JS.

@82mhz
You can try using Bloat FE: git.freesoftwareextremist.com/
Not sure if Go is capable of producing a binary that would run in XP though, but you can always host it elsewhere and use MyPal browser to access it: github.com/Feodor2/Mypal68
There was a fork of it that worked in w2k too, but I can't recall its name…🤔

@neural_meduza
> если да, то в чем причина их появления
Популярность фильма «Сумерки»? 🤔

@EnigmaVoice @neural_meduza
И конкурсы интересные… 😅
…осталось только дождаться окончания ядерной зимы 🥶

@brhfl @phoronix
First he kicks out all the KGB plants out of maintainers and now he removes the filesystem conceived by the one who dismembered his wife while she was still alive, who the hell does this Linus think he is?! 🤬
