При чём, контекст в пределах главы у меня обычно хорошо удерживается: даже через несколько месяцев я могу взять книгу и быстро найти что-то на одной из предыдущих страниц, я запоминаю в какой части страницы это было. По этой же причине предпочитаю бумажные книги, где нумерация страниц и положение на них не зависит от размера шрифта и подобного.

Мне чтение нескольких книг порой даётся легче чем одной — при чём, лучше чтобы книги были из совершенно разных областей, периодическое переключение контекста способствует сохранению интереса. Когда я пытаюсь читать одну книгу, скорость чтения постепенно падает и я начинаю задумываться, стоит ли вообще читать дальше.

И только через полгода выяснилось, что так нельзя было делать, потому что контракты с кафешками были не на определённое количество порций, которые могли съесть, а могли нет, а по факту: что съели, за то и заплатили, и имело значение даже то, к какому подразделению сотрудник относится, потом эти затраты распределялись между ними.
Мне конечно ничего не было, просто объяснили эту схему, и что злоупотреблять этим не стоит. Ну, если очень хочется, то конечно можно 😈

Я когда-то работал в компании, у которой было два офиса, и я в некоторые дни работал в одном, а в некоторые в другом, но иногда приходилось за день побывать в обоих, и в такие дни у меня иногда было два обеда.

I wouldn't be able to do the same as I don't have proper hardware to run Windows 11 except for an olde phone, but it doesn't run very well on it as it has only 3 gigabytes of RAM.

Compensating for damages is a signature move — just like when they have charged some organisations linked to Navalny for police's carrying out its duties during the protests.
The rest is just laughable — how about they present some solid proof for at least some of these claims for it to have consequences "in international legal terms" 🤦

I'm the last person to be a fan of Russian Foreign Ministry, but I still fail to see how this is propaganda, neither the article, nor the link to it suggest that their version of events might even be viable, but this official statement is still a fact.
There is nothing to achieve pretending they just don't exist — they won't disappear as a result of that. Reposting only the news you like just locks you into an echo-chamber with people who already agree with you 🤷

Europe is starting to man up finally — so in a way Trump did get what he want: he made other NATO countries increase their military spending — just the prospect of him getting re-elected in fact did.
Did that make the US great again on the other hand? Not so sure, at present moment more like irrelevant😅

I don't think that many got convinced, and few believe that it is indeed repurposed, most likely it's being dropped somewhere outside of big cities to poison the soil there.

I remember people who still remembered Chernobyl (it was before the acclaimed HBO show and before the war) getting scared and outraged when this waste started arriving, from Germany at the time. And a campaign was launched on social media to convince people that it's not a waste, but a valuable resource, that only Russia has the technology and that Europeans are fools not to do it themselves.

No, it's not about hangover only — it somehow destabilizes the mood for weeks. When I refrain from drinking for extensive periods I find it easier to deal with stressful situations — a lot of things also seem less boring. These are very minor things — not full-blown depression or inability to carry out your duties, but it's noticeable.
