πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ #Russia is demanding that #Ukraine hand over all people connected with terrorist acts committed in Russia, including the head of the country's SBU Security Service, the foreign ministry said on Sunday 🀑

@lostgen

Appreciate your input though that's just news. An example of the Russian authorities' stupidity)

@rvps2001
I don't think it's stupidity. it's propaganda trying to put forward the narrative that #Ukraine was behind the terror attack which of course is a false claim given it was ISIS.

I'm the last person to be a fan of Russian Foreign Ministry, but I still fail to see how this is propaganda, neither the article, nor the link to it suggest that their version of events might even be viable, but this official statement is still a fact.
There is nothing to achieve pretending they just don't exist β€” they won't disappear as a result of that. Reposting only the news you like just locks you into an echo-chamber with people who already agree with you 🀷

It's no surprise that today, two years after the liberation of Bucha, my feed is filled with "Ukrainians are terrorists" news straight from the russian foreign ministry. Doubled by the (required) Ukrainian denials.

I also read today "Russia has not yet provided any new information regarding the downfall of Il-76, - Budanov" ( @MAKS23 mastodon.social/@MAKS23/112190 ) and a similar observation by @amayer "It was a disinformation campaign and it worked.
Instead of "Ukraine successfully shot down an important Russian plane" the media only talked about "Ukrainian POWs killed in plane crash"." ( rheinneckar.social/@amayer/112 )
